Incredible guitar however recently I noticed my gain would randomly drop out and then return. Today there was almost no gain at all from the start, a bit of crackling and other than swapping to the middle or neck I can’t get the gain to comeback. Any luthiers see anything wrong? I’m assuming it’s a grounding issue.

Hello, I just purchased a brand new Omen Extreme 6!! I generally know how the volume, tone, and pickup switches function. With this guitar there is also a pickup KNOB that can be pushed for double coils and pulled for single coil use. With that, I have one question. What does turning that pickup knob do? Again I know u can push for humbucker and pull for single but you can also spin it as if it were a tone or volume knob however I’m not sure what that does or changes. Would someone be able to explain its function to me?
