Hi, so I have the RF 35mm 1.8, and it is technically a good lens, sharp images etc. But I find myself not using as much as i want, I really like he 35mm focal length, but the character, colour and images I get from my 50mm 1.2 are just more engaging.

In a perfect word I want a 35mm 1.2 of the same standard as the 5mm 1.2, but as that does not exist, I was wondering what people's opinion of the 35mm 1.4 is - I only shoot photos, no video - so I'm hesitant as this is a hybrid lens.

I'd like to stay on the RF mount - just wondering if anyone has made this change or has any experiences or thoughts that might help me decide...

Unfortunately, renting is not an option where I live, so I'm a bit stuck with buy it or don't!
