typed text export bug, persistent banner, and customization suggestions

Hi! I wanted to report a couple of issues and also suggest some features for future updates of StarNote.

  1. Typed text export/PDF bug
There seems to be a problem specifically with text written using the keyboard (not handwritten text with the pen).

When writing typed text near the top of the page, everything looks fine inside the editor, but after exporting/opening the page in PDF mode, part of the text gets cut off or shifted upward.

In the screenshots:
- the first image shows the normal editing view,
- the second image shows how the exported/PDF version cuts the top section.

This makes typed notes difficult to export correctly for studying or sharing.

  1. Persistent backup banner
Every time I open the app, this banner appears:

“Please back up your data regularly…”

I understand why it’s there, but seeing it every launch becomes a bit intrusive.

  1. Themes and customization
I also wanted to ask if you’ve considered adding more customization options in future updates, such as:
    - new themes/colors,
    - AMOLED/darker themes,
    - custom app icons,
    - or different notebook-style interfaces.

The app already looks really clean, so extra personalization would make it even better.

Overall I really enjoy using StarNote for university notes and handwriting. Thanks for all the work you’re putting into the app!

The app feels quite limited when using an external keyboard. It’s currently not possible to scroll through a document using the keyboard trackpad, which makes navigation inconvenient. Additionally, text handling with a keyboard could be better optimized. A very useful feature would be the ability to create text-only documents within the app, which could make Stranote a more complete alternative to tools like Word or Google Docs
