Xiaomi Elite UART Connection Problem

Hey,

I recently attempted to flash the firmware of my new Xiaomi 5 Elite scooter. While everything seems to be working to some extent, I encountered an issue when I connected my FT232RL Adapter to the scooter’s controller. My Windows PC displays that the adapter is connected to the COM3 port. (I also conducted a loopback test, and the adapter and wires appear to be functioning correctly.)

However, when I tested the connection in bw-flasher, it indicated that the adapter was not receiving any data when sending a command and advised me to check my connection. I then attempted to test my cable with a multimeter, but it only showed strange voltages that didn’t align with the expected values. Given that this is my first time using a multimeter, I’m unsure if I’m using it correctly.

Can anyone help me out? I ordered a M8 5-pin Splitter Cable to check if the scooter stays powered on when I remove the dashboard. However, it’s just a guess in my troubleshooting process so far, so I’m not sure if that is related to the problem at all.

Thanks in advance!
