I have a few original silkscreen prints by Gertrude Russel Barrer & wanted to check about value. I picked them up from an estate sale a few years back and recently rediscovered them in a drawer.
Looking on eBay, I could only find 3-4 prints by the artist and none that match the ones I have. Based on what I found, I was thinking of listing them for about $80-100 each. Would that be too high or too low? I don't have any idea of what I paid for them, so in my head that means any money I get from them is profit! lol
The two biggest prints are 26" tall and 20" wide for size reference. All are signed and numbered, and all but one have titles listed. There appears to be no real damage, but there are a few wrinkles. I put them all in magnetic wood frames to hang for now, no original framing or matting is with them. One of them has the name of the artists atelier embossed on the lower right side of the print.
