Feeling depressed - on adalimumab and I’m worse than ever
feeling very down
I was diagnosed 2 years ago with Crohn’s colitis - calprotectin around 800.
From a scope and a calpro test this past month - now see more inflammation in my gut and 2500+ calpro!
Been taking adalmumab weekly for the past year as part of a long term escalation, also on azathioprine bloods don’t seem to show that I have developed antibodies but it’s not doing anything!
I’ve also developed type 2 rosacea and have red lumps all over my face after always having clear skin.
just feel ugly and disgusting and it will never get better
this is on top of the bloating, pain and everything else.
has anyone had relief from this point? or will it just be downhill from here?
