So last year, my friend and I went to Split, Croatia for 7 days, and wow. One of the best places I have ever been. My friend felt the same. It really felt like there was constantly something to go and do.
Fast forward to this year, and summer is right around the corner. And we can’t figure out where to go. I don’t want to return to split until later in life, but I want to go somewhere which is as lovely and as fun.
Although I have tried to research places to go, it seems that anywhere that seems interesting turns out to be controversial. Meaning that half of the people love it, and the other half say it’s expensive or boring.
I’m not sure if I’m just being hard to please, but I am really struggling to find somewhere that looks fun.
We loved split because it had:
Boat trips
A Lovely old town
Beautiful beaches you could go and visit
Sea urchins (that I managed to step on)
Cheap and expensive food places
Fancy and simple bars to drink in
Also a bit of nightlife
I would love it if someone could recommend somewhere similar to go.
