I found this near an ocean beach. It's corroded enough that I can't even open it. But, not so corroded that it is beyond hope. I've decided to rescue it and restore it to usable condition. Any tips for this?

My current plan:

soak it in PB blaster until I can at least open it

Ultrasonic it for a bit and see what happens

Soak in vinegar maybe

I think I'll probably have to take it apart

Sharpen knives and whatever else is on this thing
