Delay when gaming on Samsung Odyssey G7b
I’m a bit of a Monitor newbie so just need some advice here.
I have 2 monitors, a Samsung odyssey g70b (144hz) and an assuming cheap 170hz 1440p monitor I got with my pc pre build. When I use the Samsung monitor with my PC, everything is normal, but when I use my XBSX or PS5 Pro, there is a large amount of delay aka input lag when playing GTA especially compared to when I’m playing on the 170hz monitor. I just want to know what’s causing it because I’ve tried to put the 4k monitor down to 1440p and 1080p and fiddle around with the monitor settings but I can’t figure it out. I thought maybe it’s the 4k monitor being locked to 60hz but so is the 1440p when playing GTA. At this point I just want to know what to look out for so if I have to buy another monitor I don’t buy one that’s gonna have the same issue
