(23M) Hello guys I am kinda new to CAT sub.

Some information about me:

Xth: 96%
XIIth: 90.8% (PCB)
UG: 93.5%
Pursuing Masters
6 month work ex as a English teacher.
My co-curricular are okayish (state football, NCC etc)

I am AC 5 category, do I have a good chance to make it to IIMA? I am asking this because the selection criteria was a bit confusing. *What percentile should I target?*

Someone said I am a teacher so MBA will only provide a chance to go into Marketing for me. Can I get into MBB?

I am at 5 LPA as a teacher, and I believe getting a Tier 1 MBA will give me a chance to succeed in life financially!

I am an English teacher at 24M, the salary is low (4 lpa) and people laugh a bit when I tell them I am a teacher. I have 9/9/9 profile with a gold medal and NCC certi. And state football player should I try CAT because I don’t see any other way. I want to be a success but will MBA provide something for a teacher?

I will be honest, my friends might say teaching is a good profession but I do see that people treat me as inferior. I think maybe I am too late and people in tier 1 would be from good colleges and background, I am ready to work hard but will this perception of me being just a teacher affect my career throughout?
