Listen, I know Dark Revival told us Henry is just an ink copy, but I’m calling BS. Joey Drew is a professional liar, and I think he’s tricking Audrey (and us).

Think about it: in the first game, Henry isn't some magical ink creature from the start. He’s clearly human.

  1. Physicality: He has to eat (Bacon Soup isn't for ink beings), he faints, and he doesn't have super strength. He's just a guy with an axe.
  2. The Transformation: If you look closely at each chapter, Henry gets progressively 'dirtier.' It’s not just stains; it’s a crust of "living ink" forming over his actual body because he’s stuck in that hellhole.
  3. The Ink Sludge: Allison explicitly says she and Tom can't cross the ink river because they aren't like him. If Henry was just an ink copy, he’d melt or get pulled down. He crosses it because he still has a human soul/body underneath that ink crust.

The "7 Minutes" Twist:
The ending of BATIM (the apartment) isn't just a loop. It’s Henry’s actual death in the real world. Science says the brain stays active for about 7 minutes after the heart stops. THAT is when Joey visits him.

When Joey says "Come on in, I've got something to show you," he’s not showing a cartoon. He’s using those last 7 minutes of Henry’s brain activity to hijack his consciousness and rip it into the Ink Machine to create the "perfect vessel."

The Henry we play as isn't a random clone; he’s the real Henry’s mind trapped in a body made of his own corpse and ink. Joey didn't just replace him; he kidnapped his soul at the moment of death.

If Bendy: The Cage confirms this, it would be the ultimate fan service. It fixes the lore, makes Joey a much darker villain, and restores Henry as the human hero we’ve loved since 2017.

What do you guys think? Is Joey lying again?"
