Hi, so two years ago, my father bought my a really good PC monitor (not a gaming monitor, but something that could handle me writing my manuscripts, and to capture card my Switch games from Switch to monitor), but I want to replace with a new monitor that's actually meant for gaming. The screen accidentally cracked a few months ago; it's still workable, but it makes certain things harder to do (writing, playing games, ect.)

I want to replace my monitor eventually with a decently good actual gaming PC. However, I have cats that like to jump from my desk (where my monitor is) to the top of dresser, where there's a cat bed for them to sleep. The way the legs are of my current, broken monitor, the force of the cats jumping from and to my desk doesn't rock the monitor. I'm worried of getting a monitor with one of those base-like stands, or those narrow V-shaped legs, and the monitor falling from the cats jumping to and from desk.

Is there a gaming monitor less than, let's say, $3,000 (I have no clue on average gaming PC monitors) that has legs similar to the one in the photo? The leg on the stand snakes onto the desk, connecting solidly to the other leg.

I just saw it myself. Personally, do I want the game? Maybe. To those that played any of these titles, are they any good?

This could be any of the following:

● Removing/adding an item

● Adding/removing a track course

● New vehicle ideas

● Returning old game mechanics

● Thinking of new game mechanics

For me, it be:

  1. The return if of the Thundercloud from MKWii. If you don't know/remember, the Thundercloud acted like the hot potato version of a lightning bolt. You'd get the cloud, it spawn above your head, and with a speed boost, you'd try to pass it off to someone else before it shocks you. Now, the Thundercloud was scary with just 12 players; imagine the chaotic horror of this item with 24 players.

  2. Back in Mario Kart Wii, bikes could do wheelies. You'd flick your controller up, or press up on the D-pad, and your bike will do a wheelie, giving you a slight speed boost, but you had to be back on two wheels to turn, so wheelies were only useable during straight lines. With Mario Kart World's habit to nothing out in the open world during those tracks that connect to one another, the return of the wheelies in Wii would be a find addition.
