We are heading to Norway in two weeks and wondering how the hotel worker's strike is affecting things at Norwegian hotels?

My wife and I are returning to Norway in early June after falling in love with the country last year. We will be visiting relatives near Forde this year and were wondering what would be a good gift(s) to bring from the United States (Minnesota/South Dakota area). Don't have a lot of room so would have to be something small. Any suggestions?
