Is [[Horobi, Death's Wail]] + unequipped and triggered [[Shadowspear]] just a complete one-sided board wipe?

Also, I assume that equipping Horobi with [[Swiftfoot Boots]] or any similar equipment also just destroys Horobi?

Even flashing in [[Mithril Coat]] targeting Horobi would be:

1. Mithril Coat ETBs, targets Horobi
2. Horobi's ability triggers, killing itself
3. Mithril Coat fizzles, having never been able to make it indestructible? Or is there some way to layer that where the indestructible comes into effect before the Horobi trigger?
