Hello,

now I may or may not browse some subreddits that mainly have links to redgifs.

I've noticed that the gifs seem to load in the background. So when I expand one of the gifs, then it's already running. When I collapse a card, then the gif keeps running (I even still hear the sound).

That doesn't seem to be the expected or wanted behavior. Any idea how to solve this?

Using new reddit
Browsing in compact view
"Play media automatically" is disabled in the settings
Firefox 150.0.1
No plugins that should influence anything
Windows 11
