Just replaced my PCV valve and hose with an OEM valve and hose, taken it out for a couple drives now this evening and there is a quiet subtle rattle from low rpms (15-25 mph) assuming it’s the new valve, I did the shake test and it rattled before I but it on and from the information I’ve gathered, a new valve is supposed to shake. Is this normal? Will this go away after a while? I couldn’t get my torque wrench to fit in the spot to torque it but DID NOT over tighten, just got snug. Should I try and tighten more?

Left is old valve, right is new

For those saying it’s not the same part like the smarty pants below, it’s a genuine Subaru OEM PCV valve. part # 11810AA190, so yes, it is indeed the same part.

Recently inherited a 2019 limited with a little over 100k, (had to tint the windows lol) already changed the oil myself, got the CVT fluid changed, getting the differential fluid changed this week, anything else I should look into changing or get inspected? (Outside of wheels, tires, and brakes) I had a 2010 Forester for the past 7 years and she treated me well, so excited to see what this one brings even though she’s a little older. Everything I’ve read for these 2nd gen years has been pretty positive. Let me know! 🙂
