Light Rims

Hello Ravrs, I'm getting close to adding that first bit'o "Off Road" brawny, to my '23 XLE Premium. Not lifting....starting out slowly. Planning to move a tad from the OEM Dunlop 225 60 18 to 235 65 17. The Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail seem to be the go to Road/Trail compromise tire. In terms of Wheels......I'd welcome hearing about available rims, that are on the lower weight end of the scale.... but at a price point that won't require I sell my other car! Thanks mucho.

Hey Y'all,

I'm about 300 miles into the recent purchase of a low mileage 2023 Hybrid XLE Premium .

A bit of modding seems necessary.

Between the Ravs, CR-vs and Foresters in the Costco parking lot - I couldn't find my car. ;-D

Larger wheels and tires make a nice big visual impact. But I'm also aware of the potential trade-offs. (Big meats on my Miata noticeably gobbled the gas).

Currently running the stock Dunlop 225/60/18s....gunmetal? grey rims.

Will this Rav see much gravel? Who knows.

LOVE the look of big bad Off-Roadie set ups.....but

Not likely ever lifting, wanting to deal with rubbing, "significant" fuel consumption or having to worry about handling gremlins. (life's full of trade offs...oh what to do).

Thinking of compromise.

Any suggestions, opinions, schools of thought .... on wheels/tires/sizes that aren't terribly belligerent, yet offer up a taste, of aggressive boldness.

Also, everybody seems to favor black (for good reason). Wondering about shakin' that up a tad.

I'd say maybe bronze.....but question the color match - with the magnetic gray metallic.

Thanks mucho for any assist!
