UNSC China

Im having my first external MUN, and my experience is just one, that too an intra mun of my school. Im not the best, and i wont say i very good at speaking. Im just average. Moreover, the agenda being the Venezuela regiment change by US, china has a big standing. Even the EB asked me to consider my position as a delegate of China because I dont have enough experience, and take a more easier role. So, do I keep China, or do I take another role? If China, then what tips should I use to get atleast a special mention?

89.80, my school has 116 90+ ppl, out of 240 something. I dont even wanna show my face at school tmr, and I've been put in the topper section before this. Parents and family had told me to join coaching last year, but I refused. Now I regret it. What do I do, do I apply for improvement
