OOC physical modification are weird to me
Hey everyone !
Recently (like a half hour ago) stumbled on an Attack On Titan fic tagged "tall Levi" and for those who don't know, that character is small.
It's kind of a running gag in the show, that the dude is tiny as F, it's his thing : small & deadly, like my cat's farts.
In this regard, the tag "tall Levi" had me laugh somewhat and I didn't want to read that fic anymore, which otherwise ticked all my boxes, just because a physical trait of the character had been changed.
It brought me to also think back on other fics, where I clicked out because a character became blond instead of black haired, or where they'd been described in a way that I didn't picture when I read the book originaly, other things like that.
So, both writers and readers i'm intrigued : does OOC physical traits are a nope out for you too ?
I never realized I had this pet peeve before =')
