Hello everyone,

I really love this artwork (it is slightly modified from the original) by Demian Asche and I even got permission from him to get a tattoo of it, but my mum thinks it's "too religious" and I can't get it since I'm an atheist. While I understand where she is coming from, I believe that spiritual and artistic depictions of death can be used by anyone. I could use the original version of this artwork without the halo, but I really like how it looks like this. So, is my mum overreacting or am I just being difficult?
