- The San Lorenzo River is a source of drinking water.
- The local septic systems are ALL beginning to fail due to age.
- The cost of repairs, upgrades, and replacements are PROHIBITIVE.
- The high cost of replacement and repair will never be paid by the majority of SLV residents and will result in no-permit "solutions"
- The local government allowed this problem of poor design and development.
- This issue is a matter of public health and safety brought on by the local government's negligence.
- Therefore, the county/state/fed needs to fund septic replacement!
