Lioness Books grand opening today + free community sound bath & potluck next Saturday (5/2)

Couple of things worth flagging for folks in town:

Today: Lioness Books is having their grand opening. New independent bookstore in Leander — worth checking out if you've been wanting more local indie spots.

Woman-owned.

Next Saturday, May 2 (10 AM – 12 PM): Leander Women+ for Progress is partnering with Lioness for a community sound bath followed by a potluck brunch. Sound bath is led by Josephine Ashford.

After that, everyone hangs out on blankets and shares brunch food — bring a dish (muffins, fruit, quiche, whatever) and a mat or blanket to sit on.

Address for both: 208 N Gabriel St, Leander.

It's capped at 25 people for the sound bath/picnic, so if you're interested you'll want to sign up:

Open to anyone in the community — figured I'd share in case it's someone's thing.
