I've been having an issue with my mains water now for nearly two months with the utility company saying they won't investigate as I have pressure.

It's causing quite a few issues with our electric shower that I thought was faults so I replaced.

I can see the air pulse and sputter on taps, when showering I can hear it and if I hold the pipe I'll feel it run through before the shower goes hot. It's not detecting a loss in pressure.

Is there anyway I could realistically filter out the air that is coming into the property?
My heating system has a valve to do this, so I'm wondering if there is one that's mains rated?

Thanks!
