I’ve been having an issue with my Pocket 4 where the locking mechanism (on the accessory/door) doesn’t go in easily. It feels like I have to force it a bit, which doesn’t seem right.
I’ve checked for dust/debris and tried lining it up properly, but it still feels stiff or slightly misaligned.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it just a tolerance thing, or could something be off with the latch/pin?

Also, if anyone has a good YouTube video or fix for this, I’d really appreciate it 🙏

What I’ve learned:

  • OpenClaw is genuinely great
  • I love the accessibility and flexibility
  • Productivity-wise, it’s been insanely useful
  • Having easier access to Claude-style capabilities has been a game changer

BUT…

I’ve now had two major update issues where OpenClaw pushed an update that completely broke my setup.

Both times:

  • Everything stopped functioning properly
  • I had to manually edit JSON/config files
  • claude.ai was basically the only thing that helped me recover it
  • It took unnecessary troubleshooting to get things stable again

Biggest concern:
I also discovered duplicated Telegram polling sessions were causing:

  • Double agent runs
  • Duplicate tool calls
  • Duplicate replies
  • Double token billing

Meaning I was unknowingly burning through Claude Sonnet credits far 2x faster than expected.

In short:

Pros:

  • Powerful
  • Accessible
  • Productive
  • Highly customizable

Cons:

  • Updates can be unstable
  • Can break configs
  • Technical fixes often required
  • Potential hidden cost spikes if systems duplicate

For now, I think I’m moving back to Claude in-browser as my primary tool for stability.

I’ll still use OpenClaw when I specifically need accessibility or custom workflows, but reliability matters.

Has anyone else had OpenClaw updates completely break their setup or cause expensive duplicate sessions?

Would love to know if this is common or if I’ve just been unlucky.
