Well I convinced my husband to take the Disney cruise with our toddler son but now I’m confused about which cruise would be best. We are in Colorado and our child is 2 so San Diego or Galveston would be the easier flights (about 2.5 hours)

Originally I was thinking the 5 night out of San Diego to Ensenada and Cabo. But then I saw Ensenada isn’t great with a toddler and I’m worried half of the cruise may be sort of cold in December and that area.

Then I figured I’d look into Galveston since they do progreso and Cozumel. But read the port days/excursions also aren’t great with toddlers and read people say “never again” haha

This isn’t husbands first cruise and my sons first cruise too. I’d really like my son To have a great time and enjoy our port days (not be on the boat the whole time, esp since we already get 2 days at sea with these). I know I might be being picky but I’m also realistic about a port day with a toddler. Ideally, limited walking (no 2 mile walks- it’d take us all day) no long drives. Ideally beach and water activities. While I don’t really want to take a 4.5 hr flight to Florida with a 2 yo to ship out of port canaveral, is that the play here? Or am I over thinking the SD and Galveston cruises and they’ll be perfectly fine? Suggestions?
