I’m curious what billable hour requirements your firms typically require of associates. Our firm has become increasingly vocal about everyone meeting an 1,800 hour target - how does that compare to your firm? How does your firm reward you when you exceed your target (I’m assuming some sort of bonus compensation) and how is it handled when you fall short?

In brief, I’m curious how the 1,800 hour target compares to other firms. Does it strike you as reasonable?
