What’s your opinion on finding a good balance between having your authority respected while also having a “chill guy” approach where people aren’t scared to share things with you but also aren’t disrespectful. Specifically towards shop floor operators?
Hey guy was wondering if I can get some guidance. So I’m trying 5S 10 stations that essentially all make the “same” product. The size might change from one station to another. I would like to standardize them so they are around 95% the same layout and tools. The issue with this is that some operators like to do things a certain way which i completely understand but then they also want the other 95% to be done their own way. By the end of it all the stations will end up being different from each other. Tips? Advice? Thanks!
