For context: im a Swede who decided to go to Russia with my russian friend. We are in Northern ****** and there is a drunk guy who asks me in russian (my friend told me afterward) if im a fucking brit and slowly tryes to punch me. I started laughing and thought he was funny while my friend told him that i am Swedish, drunk russian then supposedly said ”ah, Swede. Scandinavian brother. Northern Europe” and that ”he would punch me if i was a brit because they are occupying our country”. Anyway he cooled down when he heard i was a ”Scandinavian brother”. Is my friend bullshitting or is some russians behaving like this against civil foreigners just because of ethnicity and are western Europeans occupying your country (unironically)? I heard he said some word like britinski or something so i chose to believe my friend. Lucky that i am not a brit after this hahah
