Lml cp4 swap or l5p?
I know this question gets asked a lot but reading this forum has got me nervous. I currently own a 2015 gmc 2500 all terrain lml completely stock with 181,000 miles on it. I haven’t had any major problems with it just minor things but recently it goes into regen (when I start it up and usually only lasts about 5 miles) a lot and I assume it’s either the 9th injector or because I’ve been adding hot shots to it. I took it to a reputable mechanic here in town and asked about deleting it, doing the cp3 swap and head gasket too. He originally said $14,500 but sent an estimate for $16,700 saying that was absolute worst case scenario. I asked about just trading it in on a 2017-2019 l5p and he said they come with their own set of issues and I would still want to delete it as well. Is this true? Should I just delete it, add a lift pump and the grenade protection and hope for the best? I’m so lost
