I’m currently on an F1-OPT visa that is valid until June 2027. As a backup plan, I’m considering relocating to Canada for about an year through my current company. I work as a Senior Software Engineer.

I have a few questions:

1. Would it be possible to come back on L1-A as a senior software engineer?

2. How safe is it to come back on L1-B visa, considering the current administration approach towards immigration ?

3. Should I consider Day 1 CPT instead ?
