Hi, i work for a private casino (since january this year) in South Wales, ive recently booked unpaid leave (day off) and my manager has scheduled me to work midnight (when my leave starts) till 8am that day. The only issue is this shift shows up as the day before on our rota (if I was scheduled a 12am-8am for a Tuesday it would show up as a Monday shift). So on the schedule it looks as though Im working the day before my leave when I'm actually working during my leave. Ive brought this up to her but she says I should've booked the day before and the day I wanted off so I was guaranteed the full day.
For background I booked this off as I have to take my kids to school and have a hospital appointment so I didnt have the time that day for a shift.
Is there anything I can do?
