After my first flush happened, I didn’t have enough room in the bag for the mushies to get as big as I wanted so I decided to move it over to a tub, it’s still all clumpy because of how it was clumped up in the bag, but it’s growing so much better in the box now than the bag. I air it out about twice a day and spray water in it to keep it hydrated. Growing albino penis envy next that will go into a tub the whole time instead of a bag for the first flush.

Over a month ago, I made a post here because there was some slight greenness growing in the mycelium production of the soil, I wasn’t sure what it was considering it is my first time growing, and a lot of people rightfully so thought that my bag was contaminated and said to throw it out. There was one comment that said do not open it but break it and shake it up and then leave it alone for a while, and if I was gonna have to throw the bag away anyway I might as well try it right? I did and it’s growing beautifully like a wildfire now. Once I get all the mushrooms from this bag, I will be throwing it away due to a small tear on the side that I covered with duct tape, but I just wanted to share my first harvest ever! (I’m not harvesting all of them just the ones where the veil is separated from the cap and breaking, the only reason I’m not harvesting all at once is because I’m not going to be reusing the bag or soil) I’m so excited, I will be giving some of these to my dad once I’m done drying them, since he loves mushrooms and his birthday is soon 🙏
