I am from Russia and my university is offering a scholarship to send 8 applicants to one of 5 countries for 6-19 months, and Mongolia is one of those countries.
The university I would attend is in Ulaanbaatar. I am Tatar, but also of Ukrainian descent, so it’s very unlikely I could pass as Mongolian. I want to know what the culture is like, how they might treat foreigners (especially women), and what it’s like in general.
