My MC is a cannibal but not by choice, he was something half of a zombie (he isn’t a zombie but that's the closest explination) i had him eat 2 for now, and when i get to his cannibalistic scenes i don't go for the details, i go for the cut, although my novel is graphic but i feel like i can't show a full scene where a human is getting eaten alive by another human.
Second issue for me is in the history of one of my main female characters, she had been graped but i wanted to tell the audiance that in a dialogue where she is gonna say that, although im not planning to go for any details on that topic since it is immoral, my friend warned me to mention anything and change the rape thing, but i feel this would strip a lot of her character since the impact of rape on this character's life was massive, what do you guys think?
