Hi all,

A honda dealership that I bought my Honda pilot touring 2022 certified preowned at in December 2025 was dropped off a lift on its first oil change. I remained calm when told, expecting that since this happened at a honda dealership with a car that was bought from them less than six months ago that I would be fairly compensated and put in another vehicle of similair or slighly better value! to their credit, they did give me a loaner but then proceeded to tell me that the damage was all cosmetic (12k) and dont worry the repair would be on them… i proceeded to tell them I was not interested in the car anymore as I bought it certified preowned because it had a clean carfax and was safe for my three kids. they said dont worry we are not going to report it on carfax… perfect now I can never trust buying a used car from you guys. We asked to speak to Gm who refused to meet with us according to the customer service manager and refused to buy the car back from us. We were there ALL day. finally the sales manager gets involved and says he will buy back the car what we bought it for (but we would lose around 4k in taxes and fees) and he could get us into a new honda odyssey sport for full msrp since he was giving us the full value of the trade in. I am sorry am i on an episode of Tires?? was this the biggest upsell scheme ever?? I am interested in honda odyssey BUT I feel like it should be discounted given the money I am losing, the inconveinance and the fact that this was their fault. They are claiming lyft malfunction but I am still waiting on incident report that was sent to lithium motors. help!!! pics for proof
