Human equivalent of ligers vs tigons? Parent-of-origin effects in mixed ancestry
In animal hybrids, the direction of the cross can matter a lot, the best example is probably ligers vs tigons, who differ greatly in size, despite being the same "species".
In humans, are there any biological or genetic differences between mixed-race individuals with a Black father and White mother versus a Black mother and White father? Or any other "race" of humans?
For example regarding mitochondrial DNA or Y-chromosome?
