Currently deciding between staying on the Business Relationship Manager (BRM1) path at Chase versus taking a Senior Premier Banker
I’m trying to decide between:

BRM path

Higher immediate hourly compensation in a premier/private banking style role

For people who have worked in either:

Which path has the better long-term growth?

Which role gives stronger exit opportunities?

Which tends to have better work/life balance?

Did anyone regret leaving retail/premier banking for business banking (or vice versa)?

Would appreciate real-world experiences, especially from Chase/Wells Fargo/BofA employees.
