My wife and I are sailors and have a Catalina 36 on Puget Sound. We are getting of the age where we’re considering switching over to a motor yacht, God forgive us. We’re looking for your thoughts on how to gain some exposure and experience on such boats we make the plunge. I realize there is a lesson/certification available. However, it would seem to cover a lot of what I’ve been exposed to sailing, cruising and through my various ASA certifications. Thanks!
