A discussion on the weekend with my family - someone stated that their dr said he should only sleep in increments of 3 hours due to a sleep cycle being 3 hours. He argued that a 6 hours sleep was more beneficial than an 8 hour sleep. He sounded a little gimmicky. I didn't argue because it wouldn't worth it. Is there truth to this? Is there studies to back it up?
