Currently on my second ATLA rewatch, and I just notcied this detail: when Aang meets Jeong Jeong, he insists he's not ready to master fire yet, and more so they insist there's an order to the elements he has to learn (for Aang it's water, then earth then fire).

I never realized this, but it coincides with the Avatar cycle: water will be the element of the next avatar, then earth then fire. It's neat also that in Korra, the last element she masters is air. Idk, maybe they say they say this outright in the show but it never clicked for me, so I thought I'd share!
