Hi all,

I am looking at booking a trip to japan this summer, and the only way I can afford it is to go with Qatar Airlines: BCN-DOH Qatar Airlines, DOH-HND with JAL (all booked with Qatar)

I am OK with getting a cancellation and refund at any moment before my trip, but I am worried with the scenario that could happen if the situation worsened while I am in Japan.

Reading posts here, I have the idea that Qatar could refuse to re-book me through a different company back to BCN, effectively leaving me stranded in Japan and having to pay for an expensive flight back home.

What are your thoughts on this scenario? Is it that big of a risk, or am I being overly cautious?
