New Grad Advice

I’ve been stressing myself out a little bit and need some advice. I recently accepted a job with Interventional Pain/Rheumatology working at a PM&R practice. My goal job is outpatient neurology maybe family medicine. I had applied to everywhere and they want PAs with 2+ years experience, which I understand. I have a horrible sense of dread that I went to narrow for my first job. I know a lot of it is hearing all my classmates get different jobs in broader specialities, as well as them getting a job directly in the specialty they were interested in. I’m scared I’ll loose all my general medical knowledge. The job I accepted itself seems great on paper so far (heavy on procedures and M-Thur schedule). I guess I feel like “lateral moves” aren’t as widely done as I believed and would appreciate hearing from people who have been able to move across different specialties? Thanks in advance!
