Outside Light Fixture Wire Question
I am replacing the front food light fixture outside of my house and the wire coming into the wire box has 3 wires inside. I know black and white are hot and neutral but does anyone have an idea of what the red wire is? It wasn’t connected to anything in the old light fixture, just cut off and left bare ended for a very long time.
