Impossible to get into bigger events?
I live in the NY area, and ever since the OP13 boom, I've found it impossible to get into events beyond the local level. Even if I can register for them, it hardly matters when you're #78 on the waiting list.
Treasure Cups, the Double Don events, Heroines Cups, basically anything and everything with unique prizing is immediately capped before I even learn of its existence. Talking to some of my fellow locals, people are resorting to constantly checking the bandai website for announcements of registrations, and then setting early morning alarms to be able to register within the minute just to get in.
The only thing I managed to actually get into normally in recent times was the OP15 pre-release event, and that's only because the Bandai store did a lottery with all the people who registered about a week in advance rather than first-to-signup that most places do.
Idk, maybe I'm just rambling and bitching, but I can't be the only one feeling frustrated about this. I don't want to watch the bandai app like a hawk just to get into events, and I remember a time where I could just do a last-minute barcode entry even for things like Treasure Cups. Is there nothing that could be done to make this experience better?
