So I’m due for my first service on my 2025 KLR650S. I’ve been trying to get it into the dealership for the service but every time I call they tell me they are 2 weeks out for scheduling. When I schedule, I get to that day and it’s pouring rain, and I have to be at work right after drop off. I guess I was envisioning something like a car service where you sit and wait an hour for the oil change. On most of my other bikes I’ve had, I’ve always done the service myself as they were a bit more used. Didn’t know what was special, if anything, about the first service because of “break in oil”, etc.
