I remember a series of children’s books (2-4 books) that were Tim Burton meets invader zym style characters a boy and a girl, I loved them growing up but I can’t remember the name at all
I don’t remember any plot details sadly. They were creepy/cute style and the girl wore striped tights. The books were mostly black and white except the cover which was green or purple depending on the first or second book (I only had the first two) minimal pictures inside, more of a lug HR chapter book. I got them from a book fair in the US
