UK educated, want to take the NY Bar. Advice needed
Hello! I studied law in the UK and have passed the bar-equivalent (SQE) here as well. My foreign evaluation was successful, and I am looking to sit for the NY Bar in Feb 2027. I have some questions that I would appreciate your advice on:
What prep course do you recommend? I've seen many floating around on this sub (i.e. Barbiri, Themis, etc). I am thinking of going with Barbiri since I have no background in U.S law and need to learn the bsaics. I also want a prep course that covers everything and ideally not have to supplement from other resources.
Any advice on how I should approach studying for this?
Is there enough time between now and Feb 2027 to study, given my background in UK law? For context, I work full-time.
Anything else that may be relevant that I am not considering?
Thanks so much for your help!
