Basically what the title says, I can't ask women out. I'm avg height and decently overweight, so I already know I'm dead in the water from the jump. Nobody I personally know expresses interest in that archetype of a person, let alone wants to be asked out by them. I'm trying to change my appearance so I can actually look better, but I'm being encouraged to date during that process.
So I already know 9/10, I'm getting rejected for those reasons and that's fine. No blame to women, you like what you like and I'm just not that dude, it's life. So it feels like the only way I can get around this is by speed dating.
This way, I don't have to ask anyone out and after the event when nobody selects or connects with me, at least it's an implied rejection instead of an outright spoken one.
