Hey r/pelotoncycle!
It’s Becs Gentry here. I am so excited to be chatting with you. Proof it’s me here.
I’m a Peloton Tread and Row instructor based in NYC. I’ve spent over a decade coaching, but I’m also a competitive distance runner. One of my proudest running moments includes competing at the 2021 UK Olympic Marathon Trials.
Alongside my amazing colleagues around the globe, we just launched a brand new 18-week program at Peloton called Pace Your Race: Marathon. We created our most comprehensive marathon training experience yet. Here’s what you need to know:
- We’re using Pace Targets, so whether you’re aiming to improve your time or just looking to complete your first 26.2, the coaching adapts to your specific speed.
- It’s not just cardio. We’ve incorporated Strength for Runners, Mobility, and specifically designed Long Run Meditations to handle the mental and physical wear and tear of training.
- The program features over 20 global instructors to get you through those long weekend miles and recovery days.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or someone who is just getting started I’m here to answer your questions about the new program, offer advice on race training, or any other fitness Qs you have. Ask me anything!
I’ll be here on Thursday May 7th from 3:30-5:00 to answer your questions.
Even if you're venturing into your first marathon, I got you. Let’s get after it!
