I finished the program! I'm actually proud of myself not just for doing something I never thought I'd do, but for having my interest piqued and going for it, and for starting something and seeing it through!
This time is with the 5min warm up, I ran a little longer after the bell, and then just under 5min cooldown.
I've mentioned before that my plan is to practise my local park run this week after work. So I want to warm up separately and then just run for 5K. I'm excited to see what my time will be!
I can't believe I'm almost done!
Planning to finish it this weekend, then practice my local parkrun route after work in the week. I want to practice it because C25K includes the 5min warmup and 5min cooldown, I want to do the entire 5k running.
Then first time parkrun next Saturday!

I was wondering if anyone knew where to get replacement parts for an Osprey vest in the UK please? I bought a vest 2nd hand and it's perfect except it's missing one of the plastic bits and a bungee cord to carry poles. Looks like they don't replace parts but don't ship outside the US.
Excuse the dirty mirror, but I wasn't about to change again, I wanted to take pictures!
I wear leggings for work, but I'm still wearing the M/L ones I used to wear, so took myself to Primark today to get some new ones. Now the proud owner of an S and an XS pair! 🤯
For reasons I won't bore you with I thought I'd try on some trousers, like actual work pants. To be honest I don't remember the last time I wore pants for work, maybe 10 years ago? It's the same situation as jeans for me, buy them big enough to fit the belly but they're too baggy everywhere else. Buy them small enough to fit the leg and they won't fasten up.
Let me tell you how I couldn't believe I picked up a size 8 and put them on no bother! I did debate at first but I think I'm just used to seeing myself in leggings. Still a little long in the leg but what isn't, nothing some Wonder Web won't sort out 😁
Additionally, I will only wear PJs that are Marvel or Pokemon themed. This means I usually go to the mens section in Primark or ASDA and pick up a size S and they'll fit because mens are generally larger. The ones I'm currently wearing are a size S and I'm swamped, I have to roll the waistband over so they stay up. I didn't see any today, kept looking until I found some, then realised I was in the kids section!
To top it all off, they were £10 reduced to £3, and £8 reduced to £4, but when I scanned them they were £2 and £3 😁
New month, new goals! Did you complete something you wanted to do, and now want to push further? Share your progress off and on the scales, no matter how big or small!
